Questions About This Tour
Skardu flights are visual and can be delayed by weather at any time of year, but winter mornings are often clear and calm before afternoon cloud builds, we monitor conditions and rebook promptly if needed.
No, Deosai closes for winter and the Khaplu road can be affected by snowfall, so this tour focuses on the reliably accessible Skardu city and Shigar Valley sights instead.
Daytime temperatures in Skardu city typically range from -5Β°C to 8Β°C in winter, with colder nights. Heated rooms and warm clothing make it very manageable.
