Day 1, Arrive Islamabad
Pickup, briefing and evening at Faisal Mosque.
Day 2, Islamabad to Hunza
Fly to Gilgit (weather permitting) or drive the KKH via Chilas; continue to Karimabad, Hunza.
Day 3, Central Hunza
Baltit & Altit Forts, Karimabad bazaar, Eagle's Nest sunset.
Day 4, Khunjerab Pass
Attabad Lake, Passu Cones and the China border at Khunjerab (4,733m).
Day 5, Hunza to Skardu
Indus gorge road east to Skardu.
Day 6, Skardu lakes
Shangrila, Upper Kachura and Kharpocho Fort.
Day 7, Deosai Plateau
4x4 day to Deosai (4,114m) and Sheosar Lake.
Day 8, Shigar & Katpana
Shigar Fort and the Katpana Cold Desert.
Day 9, Skardu to Islamabad
Return flight to Islamabad, or overnight en route by road.
Day 10, Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure.
