Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1, Arrive Islamabad
Pickup; evening at the Pakistan Monument and Lok Virsa heritage museum.
Day 2, Taxila
Full day among the Gandhara Buddhist stupas and monasteries of Taxila (UNESCO).
Day 3, Peshawar
The old city bazaars, Mahabat Khan Mosque, Peshawar Museum's Gandhara collection and the Khyber approach.
Day 4, To Lahore via Rohtas
Travel south, stopping at the 16th-century Rohtas Fort (UNESCO) near Jhelum. Continue to Lahore.
Day 5, Mughal Lahore
Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Wazir Khan Mosque and Shalimar Gardens.
Day 6, Lahore & Wagah
Lahore Museum, the Walled City, and the evening Wagah border ceremony.
Day 7, To Multan
Travel to Multan; the shrines of Shah Rukn-e-Alam and Bahauddin Zakariya, and the blue-tile craft bazaars.
Day 8, Multan to Islamabad
Return north to the capital region (or a short domestic flight).
Day 9, Fly north to Hunza
Scenic flight to Gilgit / drive to Hunza and Karimabad.
Day 10, Hunza culture
Baltit & Altit Forts, the Karimabad old town, and Wakhi and Burusho cultural context.
Day 11, Upper Hunza
Attabad Lake, Passu, Gulmit village and the Borith area.
Day 12, Return to Islamabad
Fly / drive back toward the capital.
Day 13, Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
