Airport pickup and welcome briefing. Evening visit to Faisal Mosque and Daman-e-Koh viewpoint over the capital.
Drive north through Mansehra into the Kaghan Valley. Riverside overnight in Naran.
Cross Babusar Pass (4,170m) with sweeping Himalayan views, stop at Lulusar Lake, descend to the Indus at Chilas on the Karakoram Highway.
Follow the KKH past the Nanga Parbat viewpoint and the Gilgit confluence of three ranges. Continue to Karimabad, Hunza.
Baltit and Altit Forts, Karimabad bazaar, and sunset at Eagle's Nest over the Hunza valley.
Drive to Khunjerab Pass (4,733m), the Pakistan to China border, via Attabad Lake and the Passu Cones. Return to Hunza.
Descend to Gilgit, then follow the Indus gorge road east to Skardu (approx. 7 hrs of dramatic river scenery).
Shangrila Resort on Lower Kachura, the turquoise Upper Kachura Lake, and Kharpocho Fort above the Indus.
Full-day 4x4 expedition to the Deosai Plains (4,114m), Sheosar Lake and the Himalayan brown bear habitat.

Shyok River drive to Khaplu Palace, the 1370 CE Chaqchan Mosque and Manthoka Waterfall.
Long scenic drive back along the Indus to Raikot Bridge, then jeep and short hike toward Tato / Fairy Meadows base.
Morning at Fairy Meadows with the north face of Nanga Parbat (8,126m). Optional walk toward Beyal Camp.
Descend to Raikot and drive the KKH back toward the capital region. Overnight en route or Islamabad.
Transfer to Islamabad airport for your onward flight.
