Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1, Islamabad to Chilas

Drive the KKH to Chilas. Overnight with Nanga Parbat views.

Day 2, Arrive Skardu

Continue along the Indus gorge to Skardu. Check in and relax. Evening walk at Skardu Bazaar.

Day 3, Nagma Valley Excursion

Half-day drive into Nagma Valley, quiet terraced fields, apricot orchards and a genuine Balti village visit. Tea with a local family.

Day 4, Shangrila & Kachura Lakes

Shangrila Resort on Lower Kachura Lake. Hike to Upper Kachura Lake for a boat ride on the crystal water.

Day 5, Shigar Fort & Satpara Lake

Shigar Fort heritage tour. Satpara Lake boating in the afternoon. Kharpocho Fort for sunset views.

Day 6, Return to Islamabad

Early departure via the KKH. Arrive Islamabad by evening.
