Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1, Islamabad to Skardu
Drive via KKH (or fly for a shorter version of this tour).
Day 2, Skardu to Khaplu
Drive along the Shyok River. Visit Khaplu Fort and Chaqchan Mosque.
Day 3, Khaplu to Hushe
Continue to Hushe Village, the last drivable point in the valley. Masherbrum dominates the view.
Day 4, Hushe Valley Walk
Short trek toward the Aling Glacier edge for closer mountain views. Visit local Balti families.
Day 5, Return to Khaplu & Skardu
Drive back through Khaplu, stopping at Manthoka Waterfall en route.
Day 6, Return to Islamabad
Drive back via KKH.
