Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1, Islamabad to Skardu
Drive the KKH via Chilas to Skardu. Overnight at a Skardu city hotel.
Day 2, Deosai National Park, Day 1
Early 4x4 departure via Satpara Lake up to the Deosai plateau. Sheosar Lake and wildflower meadows. Overnight at a Deosai eco-camp inside the park.
Day 3, Deosai National Park, Day 2
Full day exploring further into the plateau. Best chances of spotting Himalayan brown bears from safe viewpoints in the early morning and evening.
Day 4, Return to Skardu & Shangrila
Descend from Deosai back to Skardu. Afternoon at Shangrila Resort on Lower Kachura Lake.
Day 5, Return to Islamabad
Early departure via the KKH. Arrive Islamabad by evening.
