Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1, Arrive Skardu

Drive or fly into Skardu. Check in. Evening visit to Shangrila Resort.

Day 2, Drive to Basho Valley

Jeep into Basho Valley, dense pine forest opening into highland meadows. Set up camp by the river.

Day 3, Basho Valley Exploration

Full day trekking through the forest and meadows. Visit local shepherd settlements. Campfire dinner under incredible stars.

Day 4, Return to Skardu

Trek back to the jeep point. Drive to Skardu. Afternoon at Upper Kachura Lake.

Day 5, Departure

Final morning in Skardu. Transfer to airport or begin road journey home.
