Skardu Astore Valley Tour

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1, Islamabad to Chilas
Drive the Karakoram Highway to Chilas, with views of Nanga Parbat as the sun sets. Overnight stay.
Day 2, Astore Valley
Turn off the KKH onto the Astore road, a scenic climb through pine forest and terraced fields. Arrive Astore town and check in.
Day 3, Rama Meadows & Nanga Parbat
4x4 drive up to Rama Meadows, alpine pastures directly beneath Nanga Parbat (8,126m). Picnic lunch with the Killer Mountain towering above.
Day 4, Astore to Skardu
Rejoin the KKH and continue along the Indus gorge to Skardu. Evening at Shangrila Resort.
Day 5, Deosai National Park
Full-day 4x4 expedition to Deosai National Park. Sheosar Lake and wildflower meadows.
Day 6, Shigar Fort & Kachura Lakes
Shigar Fort heritage visit. Upper Kachura Lake boating. Skardu Bazaar in the evening.
Day 7, Return to Islamabad
Early departure via the KKH. Arrive Islamabad by evening.
