Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1, Arrive Islamabad, Fly to Skardu
Airport meet & greet in Islamabad and the scenic one-hour flight to Skardu. Easy afternoon by Shangrila Resort.
Day 2, Kachura Lakes & Katpana
Upper Kachura Lake walk and boat ride, then the Katpana Cold Desert dunes at golden hour.
Day 3, Shigar Valley
Shigar Fort heritage tour, the Amburiq Mosque and the valley orchards.
Day 4, Khaplu Valley
Shyok River drive to Khaplu Palace, the Chaqchan Mosque and Manthoka Waterfall.
Day 5, Skardu to Hunza (KKH)
A full and spectacular day on the Karakoram Highway along the Indus, crossing into Hunza by evening.
Day 6, Karimabad & Forts
Baltit and Altit Forts, the old town of Karimabad and sweeping Rakaposhi and Ultar views.
Day 7, Attabad Lake & Passu
The turquoise Attabad Lake, the Passu Cones and the Hussaini suspension bridge.
Day 8, Eagle's Nest & Duiker
Sunrise over Rakaposhi from Duiker, then time among the orchards and craft shops of Hunza.
Day 9, Hunza to Skardu / Gilgit
Return along the Karakoram Highway with photo stops, positioning for the flight home.
Day 10, Fly Home
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Islamabad and onward international connection.
