Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1, Islamabad to Naran
Drive through Mansehra into the Kaghan Valley. Overnight in Naran.
Day 2, Babusar Pass to Skardu
Cross Babusar Pass. Nanga Parbat views at Chilas, then the Indus gorge to Skardu.
Day 3, Shangrila & Kachura Lakes
Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake, Satpara Lake.
Day 4, Deosai National Park
Full-day 4x4 expedition to Deosai. Sheosar Lake wildlife spotting.
Day 5, Shigar Valley & Cold Desert
Shigar Fort heritage visit. Katpana Cold Desert.
Day 6, Khaplu Valley
Shyok River drive to Khaplu Palace and Chaqchan Mosque. Manthoka Waterfall.
Day 7, Basho Valley
Day trip into Basho Valley, pine forest, alpine meadows and a quiet riverside picnic.
Day 8, Skardu City Day
Kharpocho Fort hike, Skardu Bazaar and local food tour.
Day 9, Return to Islamabad
Early departure via the KKH, arriving Islamabad by evening.
