Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1, Arrive Islamabad, Fly to Skardu
Airport meet & greet, connecting flight to Skardu. Check in and rest.
Day 2-3, Skardu Lakes & Forts
Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake, Satpara Lake and Kharpocho Fort across two relaxed days.
Day 4, Shigar Fort Residence
Transfer to Shigar Fort, an overnight stay inside the restored 17th-century royal palace.
Day 5-6, Khaplu Valley
Shyok River drive to Khaplu Palace, Chaqchan Mosque and Manthoka Waterfall, with a relaxed second day to explore.
Day 7-8, Deosai National Park
Two full days on the Deosai plateau, Sheosar Lake, wildflower meadows and brown bear spotting.
Day 9, Basho Valley
Pine forest and alpine meadow day trip, a quieter contrast to the main sights.
Day 10, Katpana Cold Desert & Skardu City
Katpana Cold Desert. Skardu Bazaar and local food tasting.
Day 11, Free Day / Buffer
A flexible buffer day for weather delays, or an optional Kharmang/Nagma Valley excursion.
Day 12, Fly Home
Transfer to Skardu Airport for your return flight to Islamabad and onward international connection.
