Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1, Arrive Islamabad
Pickup; evening at the Pakistan Monument and Daman-e-Koh.
Day 2, Islamabad & Taxila
Faisal Mosque and Lok Virsa, then the Gandhara ruins of Taxila (UNESCO).
Day 3, To Peshawar
Drive to Peshawar; evening in the old city and Qissa Khwani Bazaar.
Day 4, Peshawar
The Peshawar Museum’s Gandhara collection, Mahabat Khan Mosque and the Khyber approach.
Day 5, To Lahore
Travel to Lahore (or fly via Islamabad); evening at the Walled City food street.
Day 6, Mughal Lahore
Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Wazir Khan Mosque and Shalimar Gardens.
Day 7, Lahore & Wagah
The Lahore Museum and Walled City by day; the Wagah border ceremony in the evening.
Day 8, To Multan
Travel to Multan, the shrines of Shah Rukn-e-Alam and Bahauddin Zakariya and the blue-tile bazaars.
Day 9, Multan to Karachi
Fly south to Karachi; evening at the Clifton seafront.
Day 10, Karachi city
Mohatta Palace, the Quaid’s Mausoleum, Empress Market and the colonial Saddar quarter.
Day 11, Karachi & the coast
The National Museum of Pakistan and time on the Arabian Sea coast.
Day 12, Thatta & Makli day trip
Optional day trip to the Shah Jahan Mosque and Makli Necropolis (UNESCO) near Karachi.
Day 13, Fly to Islamabad
Return flight north; a final evening in the capital.
Day 14, Departure
Transfer to Islamabad airport for your onward flight.
