Day 1 — Depart from Home

Day 2 — Arrive Skardu
Morning drive along the Indus gorge. Afternoon arrival. Check in and settle. Easy evening walk around Skardu Bazaar.
Day 3 — Shangrila & Lakes
Kids love Shangrila — the lakeside gardens, the ducks and the famous airplane restaurant. Upper Kachura hike. Satpara Lake boat ride.
Day 4 — Deosai National Park
4x4 convoy to Deosai. Himalayan brown bears spotted from safe viewpoints. Wildflower picnic lunch. Sheosar Lake. A day the whole family remembers.
Day 5 — Shigar & Cold Desert
Shigar Fort interactive history tour. Katpana Cold Desert dune jeep ride and photos.
Day 6 — Khaplu & Manthoka
Khaplu Palace. Manthoka Waterfall — 180ft of pure power. Chaqchan Mosque (1370 CE).
Day 7 — Skardu City Day
Kharpocho Fort hike. Local food tour — Chapshuro, Balti Karahi, Shorba. Pony rides for children. Shopping.
