How to Reach Skardu
Via the Karakoram Highway (KKH): 18–20 hours. Via Babusar Pass and Naran (summer only, June–October): 20–22 hours. Many of our road packages drive overnight to save daytime hours.
Yes — fly Lahore to Islamabad (45 minutes) then connect to Skardu (1 hour). Total journey is around 3 hours. We arrange all connections.
Incredibly so. The KKH follows the Indus River through some of the world's deepest gorges, passes Nanga Parbat (8,126m) and goes through ancient Silk Road towns. Many guests say the drive itself is one of the highlights of the whole trip.
