Itinerary

Day 1 β€” Skardu to Khaplu

Drive via Shyok River. Overnight at Khaplu Fort (Serena).

Day 2 β€” Khaplu to Hushe Village

Drive to Hushe (last road). Meet porters and begin trek up the valley.

Days 3–4 β€” Hushe to Upper Valley

Trek through traditional villages and apricot orchards with Masherbrum growing larger each hour.

Day 5 β€” Aling Glacier Day Trip

Side trip onto Aling Glacier for panoramic views. Camp at 4,200m.

Days 6–7 β€” Return to Skardu

Trek back to Hushe. Jeep to Khaplu for Chaqchan Mosque visit. Drive to Skardu.
