Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Islamabad to Neelum Valley
Drive via Muzaffarabad into Neelum Valley, following the emerald Neelum River. Check in at Kutton or Keran.
Day 2 — Sharda & Keran
Visit Sharda's ancient Buddhist university ruins and ride along the river at Keran, where Pakistan and India face each other across the water.
Day 3 — Return to Islamabad
Scenic drive back down the Neelum Valley to Islamabad, connecting for the onward Skardu leg.
Day 4 — Islamabad to Chilas
Drive the KKH to Chilas with Nanga Parbat views. Overnight stay.
Day 5 — Arrive Skardu
Continue along the Indus gorge to Skardu. Evening at Shangrila Resort.
Day 6 — Deosai National Park
Full-day 4x4 expedition to Deosai. Sheosar Lake and wildflower meadows.
