Day 1 — Fly to Skardu
Fly Islamabad to Skardu. Private Land Cruiser pickup. Check into Shigar Fort Residence (Serena) — your first night in a palace.
Day 2 — Deosai National Park
Private 4x4 expedition. Gourmet picnic at Sheosar Lake. Wildlife spotting at your own pace.
Day 3 — Khaplu Valley
Shyok River drive. Khaplu Fort (Serena). Chaqchan Mosque. Traditional Balti dinner.
Day 4 — Skardu & Lakes
Shangrila Resort. Upper Kachura private boat. Kharpocho Fort. Satpara Lake.
Day 5 — Drive the KKH to Hunza
Scenic KKH drive north — one of the world's great road journeys. Arrive Karimabad, Hunza.
Day 6 — Hunza Heritage
Baltit Fort (over 1,000 years old). Altit Fort. Ganish Heritage Village. Eagle Nest sunset.
Day 7 — Attabad Lake & Passu
Boat ride on impossibly turquoise Attabad Lake. Passu Cones — a surreal cluster of rock needles. Borith Lake.
Day 8 — Nagar Valley
Cross the river to Nagar Fort. Walk toward Hopar Glacier.
Day 9 — Rest & Explore
Karimabad bazaar. Hunza gems — garnets and rubies. Local dried apricots and walnuts.
Day 10 — Fly Home
Drive to Gilgit or Skardu Airport. Fly to Islamabad. A journey complete.
