Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive Islamabad, Fly to Skardu
Airport meet & greet, connecting flight to Skardu. Check in and rest.
Day 2 — Shangrila & Kachura Lakes
Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake hike and boat ride.
Day 3 — Deosai National Park — Day 1
Drive up to the Deosai plateau. Sheosar Lake. Overnight at a Deosai eco-camp.
Day 4 — Deosai National Park — Day 2
Further exploration of the plateau with the best wildlife-spotting light. Return to Skardu in the evening.
Day 5 — Shigar Fort & Cold Desert
Shigar Fort heritage tour. Katpana Cold Desert.
Day 6 — Khaplu Valley
Shyok River drive to Khaplu Palace, Chaqchan Mosque and Manthoka Waterfall.
Day 7 — Basho Valley
Pine forest and alpine meadow day trip, a quieter contrast to the main sights.
Day 8 — Satpara Lake & Skardu City
Satpara Lake boat ride. Kharpocho Fort. Skardu Bazaar.
Day 9 — Free Day / Buffer
A flexible buffer day for weather delays, or an optional Kharmang excursion.
Day 10 — Fly Home
Transfer to Skardu Airport for your return flight to Islamabad and onward international connection.
