Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Drive from Islamabad
Overnight KKH drive. Arrive Skardu morning. Rest and expedition briefing.
Day 2 — Deosai & Camp at Sheosar
4x4 convoy to Deosai. Set up camp at Sheosar Lake (4,142m). Brown bears appear at the lake edge as the sun goes down. Campfire dinner under an incredible starry sky.
Day 3 — Deosai Full Day
Morning trek around Sheosar. Photography at Bara Pani. Visit the park ranger station. Drive back to Skardu.
Day 4 — Basho Meadows
Jeep into Basho Valley — dense pine forest and alpine meadows rarely visited. Camp and trek. Fall asleep to the sound of the river.
Day 5 — Khaplu Off-Road
Off-road drive via Shyok riverbed to Khaplu. Fort visit. River rafting if in season.
Day 6 — Return
Drive back to Islamabad via the KKH.
