Drive the KKH via Chilas to Skardu. Check in and relax.
Day 2 โ Shangrila & Kachura Lakes

Day 3 โ Deosai National Park
Full-day 4x4 expedition to Deosai. Sheosar Lake wildlife spotting.
Day 4 โ Shigar Fort & Skardu to Gilgit
Morning at Shigar Fort, then drive to Gilgit city in the afternoon.
Day 5 โ Naltar Valley
Jeep drive up to Naltar Valley โ turquoise alpine lakes and pine forest, one of Gilgit-Baltistan's most scenic side valleys.
Day 6 โ Phander Valley (Ghizer)
Drive into the Ghizer district to Phander Valley, known for its calm river and lush green meadows.
Day 7 โ Shandur Pass
Continue to Shandur Pass (3,700m), home of the world's highest polo ground, weather permitting.
Day 8 โ Return to Gilgit
Drive back to Gilgit city. Free evening to explore the bazaar.
Day 9 โ Return to Islamabad
Fly from Gilgit to Islamabad, or drive back via the KKH.
