Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1-2 — Islamabad to Skardu
Drive the KKH via Chilas with Nanga Parbat views, arriving Skardu on Day 2. Evening at Shangrila Resort.
Day 3-4 — Skardu Lakes & Forts
Upper Kachura Lake, Satpara Lake, Kharpocho Fort and Skardu Bazaar over two relaxed days.
Day 5 — Shigar Fort
Transfer to Shigar Fort Residence — a night inside the 17th-century royal palace.
Day 6-7 — Khaplu Valley
Shyok River drive to Khaplu Palace, Chaqchan Mosque and Manthoka Waterfall.
Day 8-9 — Deosai National Park
Two full days on the Deosai plateau — Sheosar Lake, wildflower meadows and brown bear spotting.
Day 10-11 — Astore & Fairy Meadows
Drive to Astore Valley, then jeep and short hike up to Fairy Meadows for uninterrupted Nanga Parbat views.
Day 12-13 — Drive to Hunza
Rejoin the KKH north to Hunza. Baltit Fort, Altit Fort and Eagle's Nest sunset viewpoint.
Day 14 — Attabad Lake & Nagar
Boat ride on turquoise Attabad Lake. Cross to Nagar Valley for Rakaposhi views.
Day 15 — Fly or Drive Home
Transfer to Gilgit or Skardu for your return flight, or continue by road to Islamabad.
