Rupal Valley offers the single biggest mountain face on Earth — the Rupal Face of Nanga Parbat rises an incredible 4,600 metres from base to summit. This tour combines Skardu’s highlights with a journey deep into Rupal Valley, far less visited than Fairy Meadows but arguably more dramatic.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Days 1–2 — Islamabad to Skardu
Drive via KKH, arriving Skardu on day 2.
Day 3 — Skardu & Deosai
Shangrila Resort, then full-day Deosai 4x4 expedition.
Day 4 — Skardu to Astore
Drive through Astore Valley toward Rupal.
Day 5 — Rupal Valley
Drive to Tarashing village. The full Rupal Face of Nanga Parbat — the largest mountain face on Earth — fills the horizon.
Day 6 — Herrligkoffer Meadow Camp
Trek or jeep to the meadow beneath the Rupal Face. Overnight camping with the mountain towering above.
Day 7 — Return to Astore
Descend back to Astore village.
Day 8 — Return to Islamabad
Drive back via KKH.

Rupal sees the south face of Nanga Parbat — a sheer 4,600m wall, the largest mountain face in the world. Fairy Meadows sees a different angle and is more developed for tourism. Rupal is wilder and far less crowded.
One night of camping at the meadow is included for the full experience, though basic guesthouse accommodation in Tarashing is available as an alternative.
