Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive Skardu
Drive or fly into Skardu. Check in. Evening visit to Shangrila Resort.
Day 2 — Drive to Basho Valley
Jeep into Basho Valley — dense pine forest opening into highland meadows. Set up camp by the river.
Day 3 — Basho Valley Exploration
Full day trekking through the forest and meadows. Visit local shepherd settlements. Campfire dinner under incredible stars.
Day 4 — Return to Skardu
Trek back to the jeep point. Drive to Skardu. Afternoon at Upper Kachura Lake.
Day 5 — Departure
Final morning in Skardu. Transfer to airport or begin road journey home.
