Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Islamabad to Skardu
Drive via Karakoram Highway. Overnight stop en route.
Day 2 — Arrive Skardu
Continue to Skardu. Check in. Evening at Skardu Bazaar.
Day 3 — Skardu to Khaplu
Scenic drive along the Shyok River to Khaplu (103 km). Check into Khaplu Fort Residence or a local guesthouse.
Day 4 — Khaplu Heritage Day
Full day exploring Khaplu Fort, the 650-year-old Chaqchan Mosque, and the royal gardens. Walk through Saling village apricot orchards.
Day 5 — Manthoka & Hushe Viewpoint
Visit the thundering Manthoka Waterfall (180 ft). Drive toward Hushe for views of Masherbrum. Return to Skardu.
Day 6 — Return to Islamabad
Drive back via KKH. Arrive Islamabad by evening.
