The basic rules
Drone use in Pakistan is regulated by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), and flying without proper authorization can result in your equipment being confiscated. Foreign visitors generally need to apply for permission in advance rather than assuming casual recreational use is automatically fine — this is especially strict near border-adjacent areas like Astore, Minimarg and Domail, and near any military infrastructure.
