Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1-2 — Karachi to Islamabad
Long overland drive north through Sindh and Punjab, with an overnight rest stop. Arrive Islamabad on Day 2.
Day 3 — Islamabad to Naran
Drive through Mansehra into the Kaghan Valley. Overnight in Naran.
Day 4 — Babusar Pass to Skardu
Cross Babusar Pass (4,170m). Descend to Chilas with Nanga Parbat views, then on to Skardu via the Indus gorge.
Day 5 — Shangrila & Kachura Lakes
Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake, Satpara Lake.
Day 6 — Deosai National Park
Full-day 4x4 expedition to Deosai. Sheosar Lake and wildflower meadows.
Day 7 — Shigar Valley & Cold Desert
Shigar Fort heritage visit. Katpana Cold Desert.
Day 8 — Khaplu Valley
Shyok River drive to Khaplu. Khaplu Palace, Chaqchan Mosque and Manthoka Waterfall.
Day 9 — Skardu City Day
Kharpocho Fort, Skardu Bazaar and local food tour.
Day 10 — Return to Islamabad
Drive back via the KKH, arriving Islamabad in the evening.
Day 11-12 — Islamabad to Karachi
Return overland journey south, arriving back in Karachi on Day 12.
